The Forword
Ok Here it is. We haven’t mentioned much about it till this point I am not sure why, but, I am going onto a 7 day hike into the Rocky Mountains, in Kootney National Park. The trail is called the Rockwall trail. it’s ranges from mountain tops to Valley floors and literally everything in between. I haven’t mentioned much about this but after doing final preparations for this journey, i realize that i might die on said journey and that would not allow people to enjoy this journey at all. If i die, know that i have lived a full life, my wife and children have been the absolute best part of it. i have always loved my extended family, even the ones who are suffering, i truly was blessed to be born to such a great set of siblings. I have a very wide variety of close friends, and you have all made my life interesting and full.

This is just an update on what is happening in the musical endeavors of Mr. Jared Fowler (that’s me 🙂 )

1. The CD has been completed! What an incredibly long and beautiful journey this has been. I have felt inspired so many times while working with the musicians in the band and on the CD. Singing with my wife Angie on this album has been, alone, a deeply beautiful experience. Joel Noftle(Producer) has brought forward exactly the album we envisioned creating and deserves every award there is to be given.

I feel it important to remind people, that although this is me singing and perhaps i wrote the songs that you enjoy, this music is the doings of an amazingly talented man, Mr. Joel Noftle ( Joel Noftle). He has produced, and played most of the instruments and sounds you hear on this EP. I owe him as much thanks for his incredible love, dedication, talent, sense, ears, fingers and voice as i do before anything else. I was thinking on my drive home today from the studio after a full day of recording and working on music, that i am inspired constantly by things around me, people i meet, events in my life, family members, Music, and the Sky.

I got up at 630AM, at the studio shortly after that and have been grinding away. This of course is nothing new, this has been going on for the last two weeks, ever since i returned from Montreal actually. I have been so busy, between practicing, recording, mixing, recording, sampling, recording, arranging, recording and even a little composing, I’ve been missing my wife and my 5 kids like a drowning man misses air. He knows that he needs the air desperately, but also knows that without it life could not continue. i miss my family like that. probably another week or two before we get everything finally down for keeps at the studio.

1. i love the Satanic Musical group Danzig, without question i own 4 of his albums and constantly quote him as one of my favorite quotes, “danzig when asked about all of his Satanic music and Followings of the dark side someone asked him ‘Glenn, why is it that you like the Dark so much?’ he simply replied ‘it’s not that i like the Dark…..i just can’t stand the light’

2. i’m not really a dark person but it comes across that way when you can’t hear the intonation in my voice.

Well it’s late and I’m up working late again. It’s not terribly exciting what I do, fixing networks, rebuilding Raid Arrays, or inoculating viruses from computers or is that computers from viruses. Even my writing isn’t that exciting. I’m not a writer, I’m not a poet. I do like writing music though as well as singing with my guitar. So perhaps I’m just a guitar playing singer song writer. Sounds alright to me. Anyways it’s late. And I am just finishing up some work before bed comes and I looked at the date.

Late night Conjectures…

Well it’s late and I quite honestly don’t know who reads this crap, but I feel it important to write this kind of thought down.

It’s a Tuesday… one of my busier Tuesdays actually. Good day, mama was out doing her lady’s night thing from the girls from the church, while I put my kiddies to bed. I work every Tuesday night with one of my clients so I have an opportunity to read blogs… while I wait for the alarms to go off and someone’s machine doesn’t work.

Blogs are interesting; they let in a little light onto the life of people we all know. I was reading many blogs tonight and found one friend in particular that was peculiar, I read about this girl, she has a child or two perhaps and also has a husband. Read More »
